Who is our garbage pickup company?
- GFL (Green For Life) is the Town's waste hauler contractor. They may be reached at (262) 367-6040 or visit their website, https://gflenv.com/.
- Please note: Garbage should be placed in garbage bags to ensure debris stays off the roadways. Cardboard should be cut into 2'x2' squares and bundled.
What days do they collect garbage & recycling?

How do I dispose of larger items that are too heavy for regular pickup?
- Please contact GFL to schedule a pick-up. Residents are allowed one (1) bulky item per week. Bulky waste items need to be placed curbside or roadside for collection after contacting GFL to schedule a pickup
- Residents can deliver bulky waste or additional solid waste at the GFL Transfer Station located at 630 East Industrial Drive in Hartland. Residents need to show proof of residency within the Town.
- Tags for yard waste can also be purchased directly through GFL. Call GFL for more information on this service.
- Christmas trees pickup is available for $50 a tree. Call GFL for more information on this service.
- Please be aware of what you are throwing away. Help prevent load fires. Click here to read more and be better educated on how to prevent truck fires caused by waste.
Will there be delays on garbage pickup due to holidays?
Yes, GFL recognizes the following holidays. If these holidays fall on a scheduled pickup day, service resume on the following day. Holiday delays will also be posted on the Town's website under "News and Announcements".
